Proper dental care is extremely important for your pet’s overall health. Studies have shown that poor oral health can be a risk factor for other diseases. Our veterinarians are able to evaluate your pet’s oral health, make recommendations for steps you can take at home, and provide services such as routine cleanings and extraction of diseased teeth.

10% off dentistry services if done with 30 days of physical exam!

At Home Care

The most important thing you can do for your pet’s dental health is to maintain a home care regimen to prevent problems before they start. There are many options available including teeth brushing and specially-formulated diets. Our knowledgeable staff can provide you with a demonstration on how to brush your pet’s teeth at home and provide helpful tips to make it a success.

How to Brush Your Dog’s or Cat’s Teeth

When beginning any new routine with your pet, remember to start easy and go slow.

To brush your pet’s teeth, you will need: 1 dog or cat toothbrush (we have appropriately sized brushes), dog or cat toothpaste (do NOT use human toothpaste-the foaming agents and fluoride are not to be swallowed), your pet’s favorite treat, and some patience.

After each step, provide your pet with his or her favorite treat and an endless amount of praise! Positive reinforcement!
